Alessi and Marcel Wanders enrich DRESSED collection with the new and exclusive DRESSED IN WOOD series. This new series is entirely made of beechwood coming from Valle Strona, situated nearby D’Orta Lake and Verbania, where Alessi has its headquarters. Since ‘500, this area has always been known for the production and the manufacturing of beechwood. Marcel Wanders asked for the help of a local able artisan to renew its collaboration with Alessi. The DRESSED pattern is engraved onto the wood thanks to a sophisticated laser technique. It is later hand-finished. DRESSED IN WOOD reworks the decors of DRESSED collection and elegantly recreates them with beechwood veining. This new series of elegant table accessories fit perfectly various contexts, from hotels and boutique hotels during breakfasts or buffets, to domestic and private ambiences during daily occasions. DRESSED IN WOOD Lid/Bell Jar is made of resistant PMMA, while the practical pull is made of refined beechwood.
